Phoenix I Series (ICP/AA Analysis)
The "I" Series is a full size unit designed
for high sample output. The I Models feature many of
the same standard options as the M, with the exception that
the solidified sample is removed and placed into beakers located
outside of the
machine. All safety
features are standard on all of our machines. The
advantage to this method is that more samples can be done
simultaneously, up to 12!

Construction
The Phoenix uses a
modular system of construction so that whether your analysis program
calls for 60,000 or 1000 samples per annum there is a Phoenix model
whose design has been optimized to do just that.

PHOENIX 2000 through 12000/I
Produces 2 to 12 samples simultaneously |
Operation Samples
are dissolved and mixed at temperatures ranging from 300 to 1600 degrees
Celsius. (Typical fusion temperature is 1050 degrees Celsius) This is
done over oxygen-enriched flames using specially designed burners. The
crucibles are cooled in-situ. The crucibles and solidified sample are
then removed from the machine and immersed in the acid solution.
Crucibles are available in Platinum/Gold or Zirconium |
