Binders

	X-Ray Wax C: The selected wax is ideal to bind "dry" sample-sample showing no bonding properties after pressing. Excellent cohesion of the pressed pellet. Forms stable and glossy surface. Resistant to moderate heat. Dosage: 5-10% in weight Powder, 40ų Plastic box of 500g
	X-Ray Cell MC: Based on microcrystalline cellulose. Used as dispersant during the milling process. Exhibits excellent compression properties. Resistant to high temperature. Can also be used as compression agent. Dosage: 5-10% of weight. Powder, 20-40ų Plastic box of 500g
	X-Ray Mix SOC5: Special blend of wax and selected dispersing agent. Shows excellent binding and blending properties as well as dispersant. Produces stable and glossy pellets. Resistant to moderate heat. Dosage: 5-10% of weight. Powder, 20-40ų Plastic box of 500g
	X-Ray Mix SOC80: Special blend with good binding and compressing properties. Excellent additive to homogenize the sample during the milling stage. Resistant to relatively high temperatures. Dosage: 5-10% of weight. Powder, 20-40ų Plastic box of 500g
	Boric Acid PA: Used as plasticizer. Adding boric acid at the bottom of the press and then the sample, forms a resistant back after pressing. Granular form, plastic box of 1.5kg
	X-Ray Blend Tablets: Special mix showing good binding and blending properties. This mix is available in table of 0.5g. Plastic box of 500 tablets.

40 Ton Hydraulic press

A Bench Mounted fully automatic Electro-Hydraulic Press for preparing powder samples for Spectrolaser and X-Ray Fluorescence Analysis. More information

12 Ton Manual Press

A manually operated hand press designed for preparing samples for the Spectrolaser. It features an accurate pressure gauge, tough housing with polycaronate safety door.

Press Die Sets
The die sets are available to suit the 40mm and 32mm sample cups used with the Spectrolaser and X-Ray Fluorescence Analysis. Other sizes are available on request.

Each set includes a base plate, collar and ram all made from heat hardened K110 Steel.
